In France, a car expert has an amazing skill for turning old cars into NASCAR stock car replicas.
He was inspired to do this after going to a NASCAR race,
and he often buys cars at auction for cheap.
His car replicas look like race cars,
but they don’t look much different from regular cars,
and he actually drives them on the road.
He says it’s rewarding to see his car in the mirror while driving around in one of his replicas.
He has six completed car replicas and still has 20 more in the works.
Special events in Chesterfield
Chesterfield has hosted an event where you can see replicas of classic cars and military vehicles from the 1940s.
It’s not just the replicas of military vehicles,
but the music and costumes are very much in the spirit of the 1940s and there will be performances in the town center every day during the event.
