The Kooble Kar is not an exact replica of the Type 82. Our designer has made a few changes for structural soundness, safety and cost efficiency.

Our Kooble Kar fits the standard Beetle floorpans from 1939 to 2004 (German, Mexican, and probably others such as Brazilian.)

What types of body panels are available, and how are they secured?

Body panels (available in steel) can be secured using sheet-metal screws, rivets, or plugwelds . The steel body panels are made of 20 gauge steel formed with pressed ribs.

We are able to customize your Kooble to almost any extent your pocketbook allows.

What type of lift do I need to raise the kit?

The Kooble can be raised using suspension lift kit or a body lift kit made for the Type I (just like a Baja Bug).
